me.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">My 17 month old reaches her grimy apple holding hand across the table towards me. She\u2019s standing on a chair and grinning with her whole face.<br>\u201cDon\u2019t fall down baby girl.\u201d Now she\u2019s trying to climb on top of the table, laughing and proud of herself. Of course she is. Behind her, within view, is the kitchen. If I pretend the dishes aren\u2019t piled up in the sink and the counters aren\u2019t cluttered, I can see the vision of what I want the kitchen to become.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Previously a realtor, I\u2019ve had the chance to walk through many homes. I quickly realized my favorites had certain things in common \u2013 dark wood floors, light colored walls, bright happy rooms and kitchens. I was falling in love with a farmhouse feel. Over time, my taste has evolved and so I enjoy my farmhouse mixed with a bit of bohemian, a bit of modern, and bold contrasting colors here and there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Someday \u2013 sooner than later \u2013 my kitchen will come to life. This current home has brought us many opportunities, one of which is truly bringing ourselves out in the walls surrounding us. My husband and I have been married nearly 15 years. That\u2019s a long time to some and not long at all compared to others. The fact is, it is still a significant amount of time; long enough for us to grow and morph over the years. We are certainly not the same people we were when we started this journey together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Our first child began the beautiful road of parenthood, and the sad, frustrating, and sometimes infuriating road of secondary infertility. 9 years were spent trying to grow our family in any way we could including beginning the foster and adoption process. Through IVF, we gained our second. After a long round of nursing (16 months), number 3 decided she wanted to join our family too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I know what it\u2019s like to deal with all the emotions and depression that come with infertility. I\u2019ve learned how to be strong in the face of it, but like any human I fail sometimes too. Through infertility I\u2019ve learned that I love being fit and strong. I\u2019ve learned I love focusing on my home and finding ways to keep order. Those dishes won\u2019t stay in the sink forever. The dog hair will build up, but I have ways to keep up on that. The kids want to play and spend time with us, well, we know how to play too! Infertility taught me how to get outside of myself and learn all kinds of new things. These are all things that I want to share with you!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I believe in growth and change, so I don\u2019t want to just share with you, I want to hear from you too!
