I am writing this one quickly. This one I am sharing because RH addresses many of the things I have thought of since this election cycle has come around the way it has. Unfortunately, this outcome was not even on my premeditatio malorum bingo card, but we are living through its chaotic first scenes. Everything from worst case scenarios to many other unimaginable come beating forward relentlessly. Then there is the noise that wants my attention. But I still have the many other roles that also need me first – Life, Family, Mindset, Balance, Play and Work!
The mental gymnastics of others is fatiguing, and this episode reminded me of the notion – Stop! Pause! Evaluate! Select which handle I will pick up and interact with, then take action or discard and recalibrate with intention and purpose along the way! The framework that I tend to use includes many things from lessons learned as I wander through the buffet of life! But, this particular episode encapsulates many of the approaches and strategies I use today through my own context, worldviews and during my pursuits living my journey of reasonable self scrutiny!
