But even in the noise, we stayed grounded, focusing fully on the kids and their joy.<\/p>\n<p>We spent the morning at the <em>Touch-a-Truck<\/em> event in North Logan. J, A, and L were completely in their element\u2014climbing, exploring, wide-eyed with wonder. It was one of those moments where their excitement made everything else fade into the background.<\/p>\n<p>Later, we wandered through the Logan Gardeners&#8217; Market. The colors, the smells, the community\u2014it all felt alive. Even more special\u2014they serve <em>Habibi\u2019s Salad<\/em>, something I haven\u2019t seen since my days near Yeshiva University and in Strasbourg, France. That taste brought back memories I didn\u2019t know I was missing.<\/p>\n<p>Today was noisy, yes. It shows up with conditions, asks for something in return\u2014time, energy, performance\u2014and then quietly slips away when the exchange is over. They arrive unannounced, often in the smallest moments\u2014a quiet sunrise, a kind word, a sudden realization. They don\u2019t demand anything. They just <em>are<\/em>. And in those moments, I feel more alive, more connected, more whole.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m learning to make space for those moments. To notice them.
