Everyone\u2019s sprinting toward the same finish line \u2014 compute, models, scale, repeat \u2014 and the PNL sheets look like a bonfire of capital. It\u2019s The Big Short all over again: a cast of giants convinced the system will hold because it always has.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Except for one kid in the corner doing something different.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">NVIDIA is the obvious outlier \u2014 the house selling the shovels in a gold rush. But outside of NVIDIA, the only player not marching in lockstep is the one doubling down on Video \u2014 creativity, not prediction; expression, not imitation.\u00a0\u00a0Nvidia doesn\u2019t have just one single AI model; rather, they develop and release a family of open and specialized foundation models tailored for different AI disciplines, ranging from advanced chatbots to physical AI and robotics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While everyone else is burning billions to chase the same model\u2011driven dream, this one is building the engine for the next creative frontier. And when you look at the PNL chart, the contrast is almost mythic:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Massive spend.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Minimal revenue.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Risk passed downstream like a hot potato.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And one player quietly building something orthogonal to the frenzy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It\u2019s the same lesson we see in endurance sport, in coaching, in marriage, in any long game worth playing: The crowd is almost always wrong about what matters.
