Logan and Cache Valley Open Water Swim Opportunity<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n

For those INTERESTED \u2014 Gustavo Flores, my neighbor and multisport enthusiast, has started a group that will kick off an attempt to create an Open Water Swim Group for Logan and Cache Valley folks.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Currently, the meetup details are: 
\nWhere: <\/p>\n

Hyrum Reservoir Dam inlet \u2013 park at the south side where the two dead man\u2019s corners climb away from the dam road at the inlet (https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/2516086490<\/a> \u2013 strava link for reference)<\/p>\n

When:
\nMeet up at 5:30 PM MONDAYS to swim promptly after the meetup<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Who:<\/p>\n

Swimmers \u2013 Open Water enthusiasts, triathletes and those with enough experience to swim .5 miles in an Open Water environment.<\/p>\n

Note:  Please feel free to invite kayak and support folks to maintain a high level of support and attempt to minimize OWS risk<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What to Bring:<\/p>\n

If you have an OWS Swim Bouy (https:\/\/trigearlab.com\/best-swim-buoy\/<\/a>) bring it for visibility and safety, goggles, swimwear (Wetsuit, rashguards, etc).  BRing a pull buoy if you\u2019d like \u2013 safety in OWS is our first concern<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Yesterday\u2019s Report:<\/p>\n

FYI, Yesterday\u2019s swim was warm and comfortable despite the \u2018fall like\u2019 outdoor temps. I wore a wetsuit and was very comfortable. Someone wore a half suit and 3 or 4 folks just swam with typical lap pool wear. Folks are invited to come and get an OWS swim session in and we hope you bring your enthusiasm, your courage and willingness to FOCUS on things that will help you and others GROW!
