Bike-to-run00:09:37<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">So, the information is above. &nbsp;First year, I bit off more than I can chew but I was determined not to quite and obtain my finisher\u2019s medal and hat. &nbsp;The second go, I did a lot right. &nbsp;I was able to finish with my best time so for. &nbsp;In 2017, I had a few mishaps even though I PRD my swim, my cycling and transitions. &nbsp;I fumbled the run b\/c I didn\u2019t manage my nutrition correctly and the variables of the strong winds and heat derailed me.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s always an interesting thing trying to get back into the swing of things after a major event\/race. &nbsp;Family wants its time, work wants what it needs, trying to make everything get back into a rhythm. &nbsp;You just have to take one step at a time and re-calibrate and re-center. &nbsp;A lot of different things tend to compete for priority and focus. <\/p>\n<p>I went out on a simple 5 k run and just blew through it. &nbsp;I feel fresh and recovered. &nbsp;I feel like I need to get back to the pool and begin hitting longer distances and upping both my volume and focus. &nbsp;Life is great. &nbsp;We are adjusting and getting ready for our new normal. &nbsp;The kids are working through it too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">This week has been fast but a bit off on volume. &nbsp;Time to bring things back. &nbsp;See ya next
