{"id":7301,"date":"2016-08-25T18:51:00","date_gmt":"2016-08-25T18:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/2016-random-progess-report"},"modified":"2026-04-12T18:46:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T18:46:51","slug":"2016-random-progess-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happyinthehills.com\/zentriathlete\/2016\/08\/25\/2016-random-progess-report\/","title":{"rendered":"2016 \u2013 Random Progess report\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/shanelivingston.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/08\/37baf-21c560_f9a489aa63b84fe7aeb47b2fed7088admv2.jpg\"> <\/p>\n<p>Last night\u2019s run &nbsp;\u2013<\/p>\n<p>Run from March 5th 2013 \u2013<\/p>\n<p>One last visual \u2014<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/shanelivingston.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/08\/58579-21c560_d6992f062dbb45ffa056b99f130c4432mv2.png\"> Garmin Comparison of the two activities.<\/p>\n<p>I think this is a good place to do a Throw Back Thursday oriented post. &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/shanelivingston.blogspot.com\/2016\/08\/2015-2016-year-in-review-theme-goals.html\">I posted here <\/a>the other day the recap of my goals from 2015 late summer to 2016 late summer. &nbsp;I am not much of a goal follower rather I am a task achiever. &nbsp;This information was cool to see. &nbsp;I would assert that i was successful in achieving my tasks and goals over this period of time.<\/p>\n<p>When I look at the above 2 running routes. &nbsp;The span of time is important. &nbsp;At the March 5th 2013 run, I had almost no motivation to run and my wife drug me out the door. &nbsp;I huffle-walked most of it (huff and puffing beween maybe .2 mile segments of a 50% effort fartlek). &nbsp;In comparison, last night, the air was rough due to many local and regional fires. &nbsp;It was dusk, so I had on high Viz clothing but went without a lamp \u2014 motivation to beat the low grey light that was on coming. <\/p>\n<p>It was a great run, to walk in to my wife goin\u2026. \u201cNu-uh, Are you serious?\u201d &nbsp;\u2014 I think I am finally getting to where I want to be. &nbsp;It was quite a good run. &nbsp;I had two points I had to stop for traffic, but other than that, it was great. &nbsp;I am feeling stronger as I push my gait which in turn increases\/decreases my pace. &nbsp;I have misplaced my HRM and that is ok, but i need to find it. &nbsp;This is a great course loop for me as it provides a good baseline and it is not a track or oval with monotonous left turns only.<\/p>\n<p>Now to find some comparison photos.<\/p>\n<p>Bear with me, post is in progress.<\/p>\n<p>#triathlonlifestyle #swimbikerun #trilife #triathlon #Checkin #roadtoimca2021 #triathlonlife #ironmantraining #familybalancetri #triathlontraining #2016 #triathlete #triathlonmotivation<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night\u2019s run &nbsp;\u2013 Run from March 5th 2013 \u2013 One last visual \u2014 Garmin Comparison of the two activities.
