Potato Pancakes – fail?

I thought it’s Hanukah time and it would be great to try making some latkes! Well I mistook a recipe for potato pancakes for latkes and ended up with this.

It’s not that this was a bad recipe but it was just well…mushy. Obviously it was mushy because I used mashed potatoes to make it but still…I wanted latkes, not mushy fried mashed potatoes.

At least the corn was perfect.
