Amazing Changes

When I first switched to a strict Candida diet, it was for the purpose of getting rid of sinus infections. I was so over waking up with headaches, being tired, and never feeling well. It was also for the purpose of healing my gut and getting rid of bloating. I never expected to feel so much healthier – or maybe its just been so long that I’m shocked to begin feeling this good.

I don’t wake up with headaches anymore. Often I can breathe out of BOTH nostrils. My stomach doesn’t torment me with horrible bloating as much. But perhaps the biggest surprise of all is my disappearing back pain.

Just over 4 years ago I fell down the stairs while holding my little boy. Soon after that I had back pain so intense no position would relieve the pain. I finally went to a chiropractor with him, and then 4 after him, claiming he would make me all better. Well none of them ever did. I always got to this plateau where I was in pain, stiff, sometimes worse days than others but at least I could lay in bed without hurting – sometimes.

So for the last 4 years I have been in pain and tried everything I could think of to relieve it. I tried pain relievers, then stronger pain relievers. I tried ice packs, warm baths, yoga (which helped the best out of everything), massages, capsaicin and even cobra venom to relieve the pain. NONE of them worked.

Now suddenly with my new diet I am waking up minimally sore and most noticeably, not stiff. This is huge. This is major incentive to keep going with the diet and forget about processed foods.
