Pumpkin French Toast

Are you drooling yet? Do I even need to say anything or is the picture enough?

I experienced this awesome dish first in a restaurant named Magnolia located in Burlington, VT. While visiting, it seemed to be the most amazing place for food I’ve ever been. Every restaurant we went to was another wonderful experience. By that I mean not just the food but the wait staff, chefs and ambiance included. Total package!

I was torn between choosing this dish and another named Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Lucky for me Shane chose the pancakes and I was able to steal a bite. Equally divine and also likely that I will try to concoct a copycat recipe so I don’t have to travel all the way up the coast for these.

The french toast turned out great. It wasn’t anything more than finding an awesome pumpkin bread recipe and slicing it up for french toast. Yum yum yum yum.
