Crawling out of a hole – aka ‘The Sickness’
Been Sick
Well, it’s been awhile. The major thing the last 2 weeks is being sick. When I get ill, I often get ill. I was able to run the other day. I ran down to meet the family and kiddos at merlin Olsen Park. I was greeted by Juniper and Astrid running across the park to tackle daddy. The few folks that saw it. It was funny, because the girls were shouting at the top of their lungs. DADDY!!!
Anyway, I have been able to keep my voice, thus far. It’s tough to pinpoint this one but I have been fatigued. So, I feel yesterday, Sunday was the last of it. Today, I have the residuals of sinus pressure returning. I have been moving chest congestion and phlegm and runny noses. The difficulty is each of us in our household have run thru the spectrums of this wonderful bug. The good thing, no indications of COVID outside of some symptoms being in the symptoms panels.
There is a lot of noise happening in the world. When i am not able to work out, it amplifies a bit. The good thing tho is that school has come to a close, and Dennis, Juniper and Astrid have definitely polluted the noise space with all of their energies and joy! It is time to shape summer and all the small impacts and changes that has on things.
Anyway, I have recorded a few VLogs and seeing how I can incorporate those. The audio in the car without a headset is less than favorable. So, I will address that and see if I can include a weekly VLog and a weekly Blog post.
I also re-tooled the mystory links on this – once I figured out what I need to do, I kind of just spun thru and re-tooled it so it works better. Also, I set up and put out the framework for the Happy in the hills ecosystem of things:
So I have been busy with work, and family and being sick. So, still no rest for the sick. There were plenty of things to complete to help Liz and maintain the house and our summer ambitions.
Well ity’s time to get back into the water, and ramp things up. 18/19 weeks out. Here we go!
“If anyone tells you that a certain person speaks ill of you, do not make excuses about what is said of you but answer, ‘He was ignorant of my other faults, else he would not have mentioned these alone."
