Converted a social media post to a blog post
Some interesting advice as it pertains to worldviews.
The following thoughts and inspirational memes have been top of mind, as of late. The Henry Rollins quote is so true. I tend to take a Stoic practice approach to any opinion and worldview I encounter or come across on the watercooler of opinion that has become Facebook.
I internalize things and evaluate myself and choose to grow and improve. Some things I just see as noise, and acknowledge with tolerance that it exists, but silently choose and demonstrate in action how I choose.
The one thing I often observe is how disconnected from reality but how deeply entrenched in opinions and perceptions the communities of facebook have become. That being said, its in the conundrum of small differences where these things go nuclear.
Lastly – “Instead of endlessly debating about which worldview reigns supreme, I choose to take elements I admire in both traditions while constructing a philosophy about how to live, and demonstrate two heads are better than one. “
