Coming back from lower hip adductor tear – A difficult but worthwhile journey

I woke up quite stiff this morning.  As I neared mile 5,  just before the climb, my muscle and ligaments started to feel more loose. An oft frustrating thing about this lower hip adductor injury is every time I start building  – I have to be where my feet are.  Not comparing myself to where I have been. Not skipping forward to where I want to be.  I do my best to discard those fairytales (past and future) enjoy this new journey.  I reflect, reframe, recalibrate often in the efforts to be grateful during and through the painful moments.

Growth comes at a cost. It’s understanding the value proposition that drives each step!  It’s having the wisdom of lessons learned,  It’s being excited about the foresight that hindsight offers.  It’s being where I currently am and not suffering in a tomorrow that isn’t here just yet.
