Morning Run – 1st since like forever
My sleep was off last night, and we have a family day trip to the SLC Hogle Zoo, so when the morning hit and it felt right to run. Well, I know Mercury is in retrograde. So, it must be it! Am I right? So I headed out with a hearty walk down the hill, eased into the run. Mindful of my HR and breathing. Since it has been since my injury with a few intermittent run spats. The objective was to keep it slow and about 30 minutes moving. What I normally do not do – listen to C 26 podcast. Do a walk into the run, and out of the run. Slow, controlled, mindful of my stride and pace and form.
Who knows what is next, the big thing here is after waking up and being in the hot tub unbeknownst to anyone in my household. The impression to go for a run and its time to get back to it was nice. I have thrown my running gear in the closet next to my wife’s speciality locker (hahahaha). I have some new Mizuno Wave creations. I miss that shoe and have spent a lot of time in On Cloud X.
Tomorrow is a another day, but for now, let’s get ready for the SLC Hogle Zoo.
