Some Recent Thoughts

Years ago, I was introduced to this trail during the season when the waning remnants of snowfall were still along the Crimson Trail. Unbeknownst to me, a friend and simple hero to me, was waiting to capture this moment on trail. Until I saw the picture captured by Matt later – it was then I realized the magnitude of the trail and perhaps the moments he witnessed thru me capture in still frame. Thru the years I have been on this trail many times to feel small, not to diminish my value, rather to emphasize just how great life is. In my circles I see many hanging on by small margins lately. More than should are facing ginormous challenges that affect more than self, and it’s difficult to observe – we are even supporting and helping a few in meaningful but small ways. Life is hard, and can be cruel – so I choose to be empathetic and kind – not really expecting any recompense or reward other than seeing others needs better met. It has been my lesson learned to not refuse help – it’s hard – but it helps another too. Maybe this is why I have been more thoughtful and intentional in my more recent posts – I’m learning to dance in the storms I can only navigate through when all my efforts to intelligently and intuitively approach less rigid paths fail! I’ve also learned to be comfortable with discomfort because growth is almost inevitable (it’s not an absolute unfortunately) . So ummm ya. Framing expectations and perceptions and perspectives appropriately has long been an endeavor of mine to shape that skillset aptly. Lots of lessons learned for sure.

Instead of endlessly debating about which worldview reigns supreme, i choose to take elementsi admire in bith tradtiions while constructing a philosophy about how to live and demonstrate two heads are better than one. @Ryan Holiday #gratitudecookies #familyblanacetri #reasonableselfscrutiny @Liz Livingston – dont care – rock thoughts
