A thought From this image
Liz and I have found the more we foster a space for mental resilience – a space that allows them to flourish, to learn how to grow while also letting them encounter their aspirations and failures and successes — things like performative measures and outcomes are available to my kiddos – they just have the right and autonomy not to choose what the social norms may prescriptively (forcibly or otherwise) try to coerce upon them.
Sure, there are some haphazard mistakes and guardrails are often in place, for an age appropriate time as we guide and parent them, but they also know our model is ONLY what we know and there may be even more brilliant options – we just don’t know how to enrich them with! Grades are cool, sure, but they worth nothing if the framework of learning is never achieved. That’s the difficult part in any journey of reasonable self scrutiny!

When you hurt good-hearted people,
Emanuela Laura Grigoriu
they won’t scream,
they’ll keep their pain inside.
They will gently and silently drift away
never to return.
They won’t stop being good,
they’ll never trust you again.
This is exactly when you lost them ..

Heavy is heavy, no matter how well someone carries it
Just because I carry it well doesn’t mean it wasn’t heavy. We all have burdens we bear, struggles that don’t always show on the surface. It’s easy for others to assume that if we’re standing tall, we must not be weighed down by life’s challenges. But behind the calm exterior, there may be a storm of emotions, responsibilities, or pressures that we’re managing quietly. Strength doesn’t mean the absence of difficulty; it means pushing through, despite the load. What’s often overlooked is the effort required to hold everything together, even when no one is watching.
Sometimes, the weight we carry isn’t just physical, it’s emotional and mental. It’s the sleepless nights, the quiet moments of doubt, the things we sacrifice for the people or things we love. While we might seem fine, it’s important to remember that resilience isn’t about never feeling burdened—it’s about continuing forward, one step at a time. So, the next time you see someone moving through the world with apparent ease, remember: they might be carrying a lot more than they let on. Just because they carry it well doesn’t mean it wasn’t heavy..

1
I release what no longer serves me and make space for growth.

I honor the lessons of the past year and carry them with gratitude:

I let go of fear and embrace the peace of this still moment.
It will be okay
It’s okay.. You’ll be okay. Maybe not now but one day you will. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re doing your best already.
Maybe you’re feeling so overwhelmed and exhausted. Maybe you feel like giving up everything all at once because you just had enough.
But you’re stronger than this. I believe in you.
Be There

“There is a kind of secret strength. It lives in you and no one, not even you, know it’s there. It lives inside you, waiting for the day it’s needed, waiting for the darkest hour of the darkest night. And then, when you are defeated, when your heart is so broken you don’t know if it can ever be put back together again, it whispers : “Hello. You don’t know me. But I am here…”

One last one
In the quiet moments when others paint you with colors that aren’t yours, remember: your truth runs deeper than their misunderstandings. Like a tree whose roots know the earth beneath, even when its branches are mistaken for shadows, your essence remains unchanged by others’ perceptions.
There will be days when the world will try to reshape your story, when whispers will attempt to rewrite your character. In these moments, let your heart be your compass, not their words. The greatest strength lies not in shouting your defense to the winds, but in holding your truth close, like a precious flame that burns steady even in the storm.
Know yourself with such depth that others’ misconceptions become mere ripples on the surface of your deep waters. Your worth isn’t measured by how well you’re understood, but by how faithfully you honor your authentic self. Stand firm in your truth, like a lighthouse that needs no validation from the ships it guides.
For in the end, it’s not the noise of misunderstanding that defines you, but the quiet certainty in your soul that knows exactly who you are, what you stand for, and the beauty of your purpose – seen or unseen, understood or not. This is your power, your peace, your truth.
