For nothing delights so much as the examples of the virtues, when they are exhibited in the morals of those who live with us and present themselves in abundance, as far as is possible. Wherefore we must keep them before us.
Anyway, it was a good and solid swim and it was nice to have that 100 in the middle. Now back to the grind!
Overall tho, I like this route to help me refocus my mindset. It’s a ride that allows for Big crank work for a majority of the ride, and a climb early on to keep me honest.
Irony staying here end up costing more because of costs incurred for food and incurred incidentals that were just included for us in the Hilton Hotel many of the EU and UN delegates used while those things were in session in Strasbourg. Just needed 10 miles tonight.
Getting a bit looser and more comfortable in the saddle. Let’s see where we go!
At least it has video and is a decent fun ride to recall all the points I know after having ridden this about 5 times now – 4 in events, well Salt to Saint was just a reversed ride but still an event.
