Some Important memories from FB
First FB Post

Digable Planets – “where I am from” , trolling in the space between my eardrums….
Sometimes looking back evokes positive/negatives – a lot between the two maxims. One without the other takes away the sweetness of the things one has learned along the way.
Experience begets wisdom, and I am grateful for the many opportunities that were once perceived as failures and how many have become the fuel to my current and undiscovered strengths. Been listening to ‘you can’t hurt me’ by David Goggins and sometimes digging deep is worth it…

Aww, some rear view glimpses! How far I have come. So many glimmers of joy along the way! There has been a lot of IDK’s and WTF’s and many lessons learned with plenty of intersections with joy.
Someone this week shared their 3 P drivers: Seek Peace, hold and strive through life with Passion, be patient in our interactions with Joy!
Was great to run into an old friend on trail. Cheers!
Second FB Post
Pre-Dinner capture from Strasbourg circa July 2013

Ahhh! Mathieu and Nico with D! So much here! wow! I have kept connected to these two colleagues through the years. Mathieu captured me in San Diego, and helped me steer thru a precarious career event I was blind too. Thanks to Mathieu and his check ins from Quebec. They are ever so timely and serendipitous!
Nico and I recently reconnected thru IG. Wishing you well my friend! Navigate the best you can. Appreciate!
Third FB Post

Although this place closed, the owner always made me as a travelling vagabond feel larger than life. As a legacy immigrant in France, Halil expanded my heart and mind and reminded me kindness gets so much more mileage than abject cruelty!
“I’d rather be an optimist and a fool, than a pessimist and be right” – it was in this era where I matured a lot in my persona, life and in the near future swim, bike run spaces!
Rearview glimpses tend to demonstrate to me, a broader lens than the puddles and sandboxes of mud they may have seemed in those moments!
Fourth FB Post

whaaaaat? my how kind time and growth has been to my spouse and I!
I walk along a lonely Road

So, about this time in 2013 – I was travelling between Cache Valley and Strasbourg spending 17/18 days there and then 2 weeks at home. This was a street I walked many times. The views of Strasbourg are so much different than here in Utah and in Cache Valley. I do miss it! But I am glad I am not travelling too – I don’t know how the 3 youngest kiddos would do compared to my oldest! Anyway, yesterday at work someone asked how long it had been – too long. Way too long!
