Years ago, I was introduced to this trail during the season when the waning remnants of snowfall were still along the Crimson Trail. Unbeknownst to me, a friend and simple hero to me, was waiting to capture this moment on
This stems back to when I was about 6/7/8 years old as I first learned about the pilgrims. It didn't align with events shared in texts outside of the secular textbooks - origin stories of 1715 and 1620-ish weren't aligning.
Was so pleasant I just slowed down and enjoyed it. Very grounding. I even took a moment to capture some decent headshots of myself.
