Pool Swimming – SARC – Moderate building volume
Last night was my first two-a-day at the SARC Indoor Pool. It was nice and quiet and other than someone upstairs punching the bag. It was just me and the water. Somewhere about 700 – 800, I had what felt like a very good smooth 50 yard up and back and the follow up 50 yard for the 100 yard lap was just really good. I can feel the paddle work paying off finally. Also, while swimming after a decent bike ride – I was very conscious to swim solid and not put out too much effort too early.
The weird thing I did observe was the 6 people that came in upstairs and looky loo-ing into the pool from above. They each came to the rails. Then looked over and then exited. It was the first time I have seen so many people within 45 minutes of my swim session. Anyway, it was a good and solid swim and it was nice to have that 100 in the middle. Now back to the grind!
